Christmas – A Gift from Heaven and The Divine Vision

Find your vision through God’s vision on a baby born in a manger

What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him - 1 Corinthians 2:9

The year 2021 started its countdown with thanksgivings as a prelude of the holiday season. Now it’s a holiday time; It’s a celebration time; it’s time to give and receive; it’s time to wrap up a year and plan for a new year. For Christians, it’s also a time of joy and celebrating the birth of baby Jesus.

You may ask how a baby Jesus brought so much joy to Christians. Well it does not only bring joy to Christians but to the world. God revealed His divine and unimaginable vision through the baby born in a manger, Jesus.

God’s vision for Jesus as human is to bridge the valley between us and our creator, himself. He did this by humbling himself and coming down on earth in flesh. It’s written in bible, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.” (Metthew 1:23) Immanuel means “God with us”.

After Jesus grew up, he sacrificed himself on cross so our sins are covered and washed away so we can come to the Father through believing in Him. He restored the harmony relationship between us and God. What an amazing grace! And He is called Prince of Peace.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 NIV)

God offered us the peace of heaven in our heart. Now we can come to the father freely with confidence through Jesus, our savior.

God also has a vision for your life, a vision is much bigger than what you know and own, who you think you are. What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him (1 Corinthians 2:9)

You are one of small pieces of God’s big picture – the kingdom of heaven. Though you are one of the small puzzles, you are far significant beyond your life on earth. Without you, the big picture will not be completed so God has been chasing you since you were born. He wants you to see his vision for your life and know his calling for you so you can fulfill your mission on earth and be part of the big picture in heaven.

To live a better life next year than this year, to grow stronger and bloom, you need first to find your signature vision from God. Second you need a plan ahead; you need set up your goals and develop a road map, be ready to start your journey to your fullest.

Have you found your signature vision? If not, you need to find it so you get the direction and guidance.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12 NIV)

Jesus is the light of world. He is also the light of your vision. During the Christmas time, prepare room in your heart, welcome him to your heart and let his light shine in to drive away the darkness of your confusion in life so you can find your signature vision from him and let him lead you each step on your journey to reach your vision.
