A Four-Step Formula to Accelerate Your Success

Fast-Track Your Dreams: Take Control and Accelerate Your Success Journey

Success = 1 – Failure^N

Success is not the absence of failure but the resilience to rise, evolve, and thrive in the face of each challenge. Embrace failure, empower growth, and let success be the equation of your perseverance

Have you ever dreamt of a life bursting with accomplishment? Where each sunrise ignites a new chapter of growth and every sunset paints a canvas of progress? While success whispers sweet promises to many, it often feels like a distant mirage, forever shimmering just out of reach.

Success is not a default state but a carefully defined path enriched with efforts and wisdom. In a world where some find themselves stuck in repetitive experiences, others embrace a higher life, growing every day, month, and year.

Research suggests that 92 percent of people who set goals fail to achieve them. Have you wondered why? For those who reach success, some get there quickly, while others take many years. What makes the difference? How can one accelerate their journey?

Today, we embark on a four-step transformative journey, one that shatters the illusion of stagnant potential, slow growth and unveils the hidden fuel for accelerated success: the potent blend of vision, wisdom, strategy, and unwavering faith.

1) Define Your Success - Everest

The first step to scaling any mountain is to understanding its peak. What does true success look like for you? Is it climbing the corporate ladder, building a flourishing family, or mastering a forgotten dream? Or is it shedding 20 pounds or growing your business by 20% of revenue?

Paint a vivid picture. Setting SMART goals is a common practice. However, to truly accelerate success, let’s delve into the less-explored second step.

2) Evaluate the Distance - The Roadmap to Success

Setting goals is just the beginning; the real challenge lies in achieving them. To accelerate your journey, you must know the roadmap and analyze the distance from where you are now to your envisioned summit, as defined in step 1.

The formula to calculate the distance is:

Success = 1 – Failure^N, where success is the rate of success, failure is the rate of failure, and N is the number of actions you take.

Success is not the absence of failure but the resilience to rise, evolve, and thrive in the face of each challenge. Embrace failure, empower growth, and let success be the equation of your perseverance

This formula determines the success rate based on failure rate and the numbers of action.

For example, if you reach out 10 prospects with 80% failure rate, 2 (80% of 10) will be converted to your customers. N is the numbers of times you take. For example above, you reach out 10 prospects then N=10; if you reach out 15 prospects then N will be 15.

Calculate the success rate of your chosen path and strategize to minimize stumbles. Remember, as Ecclesiastes 9:10 reminds us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might," for even the smallest step propels you forward.

Let’s look at the chart below, illustrating the relationship between failure rate, the number of actions, and success rate.

If you set a target success 0.98, almost for a customer to say yes. If your failure rate is 0.5, then you need to reach out to about from 5 to 6 prospects to get one customer; failure rate 0.65, reach out to 9 prospects; failure rate 0.7, reach out to 11; failure rate is 0.9 reach out to 38 prospects, that’s out of the chart.

The illustration helps you grasp how to accelerate your success: either reduces the failure rate, increases the number of actions, or both.

Allocate resources wisely, focusing on solutions aligning with your budget and goals. Remove non-relevant activities, streamlining your path to success.

3) Plan and Gather Resources for the Journey

Success acceleration involves strategic planning. Evaluate the costs of reducing failure rates or increasing actions. You need to understand your cost for the above two kinds of solutions and your real situation.

If reducing your failure rate has a lower cost, plan the right resources; if taking more actions has a lower cost, take this action. If both are doable and within your budget, do both – you will accelerate your success.

4) Move Forward with Consistency and Faith

The path to success is seldom smooth, filled with unexpected challenges despite meticulous planning. Take actions consistently, remain agile, and, most importantly, have faith. Commit your actions to the Lord, seeking strength and guidance. Pray for every action you take.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." (Proverbs 16:3 NIV)

Accelerating your success involves a holistic approach – envisioning, calculating, planning, and moving forward with unwavering faith.

Embrace the wisdom gleaned from today's formula, quotes, and verses. Recognize that success isn't merely a destination, but a transformative journey. Now, let the success formula be your compass, strategic planning your steady stride, and faith your soaring wings. Take that first step and ignite your path to breathtaking success!
