Happy Thanksgiving

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever - Psalm 136:1-2

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

There is a time to pause, a time to celebrate, a time to give, a time to gather around with loved ones, and a time to laugh, a time to drink and a time to be grateful.

God has made everything beautiful in its time.(Ecclesiastes 3:2)

Today is the time to share with you my 360 degree gratitude for life.

Nature

I am grateful for the four seasons as God reveals himself through seasons in all his creation.

I recognize his holiness and purity through glittering snows; in each sunset and sunrise, I see his glory; I hear his whispers from nature’s ringing bells; I experience his richness from variant plants and exquisite blooming flowers; I meet him while walking in scenic trails; I am awed by the wonders of mountains and splendid golden autumn colors. Constantly God leads me beside the quiet waters in a park near me, where He fills my thirsty soul with his words and I listen to his voice.

Personal

I am grateful to His gentle touch and amazing grace when I am either emotionally low or high. His word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. (Psalm 119:105) In 2021, He has brought the right people to help me while I republished the book, Grow to Your Fullest. I am thankful to my launch team. Without their help, I could not do this.

Family

I am grateful for having a small warm family where we can share our struggles and cares, we express ourselves with genuine self. Sometimes there is noise of complaining but it always ends up we understand and love each deeper.

Church

To my church, my gratitude is deep and huge as this is the home for my spirit. I am so grateful to the prayers from Wednesday’s prayer meetings and online groups, Sunday worships, bible studies and all kinds of sharing and serving. And I grow closer to God.

Work

First praise God for the job and all his guidance and wisdom given to me. I am grateful for the accomplishment, challenges and failures; I am grateful for both good coworkers and challenging ones. This year, I am super grateful for a small group full of God’s people at work so we study bible and pray together. That’s very beautiful.

Communities

Thank God providing me with two more communities to serve – Bi-vocational ministry and Data science for all (DS4A) at Correlation One. I am grateful to the teachers and co-workers at bi-vocational ministry as I see how God works out wonders without boundary and his spirit unite us as one though we are from different churches and places. At Correlation One, I am grateful for the students I mentored, they graduated and landed their ideal careers.

I am very grateful to the LIVE program offered by Kensington Church. During the class, I know more about myself from God's perspective and the feedbacks from the team. Our two mentors have unique spiritual gift in coaching and their feedbacks are powerful and full of heavenly wisdom. At the end, I am motivated and encouraged to live out my identity in God and glorify Him in everyday life.

Last but not least, I am grateful to you who are reading my message. It’s your support and reading to keep me writing.

There are much more to be grateful for and this is a life time thing. Being grateful is one of nine fruits from Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22) And gratitude is the breath, without it, life can be easily choked to death. As we should Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34)

During the special time, may you get time to count your blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
